When I am shopping, I keep my eyes out for bargains in framing as that is the most expensive item for artists to buy. In a plant nursery, complete with decor, I found a frame I could use, although it wasn’t a size I usually buy. I searched through my photos and references and found this image to paint. I like the result and the frame suits the subject matter very well.
