Painted in 1996, I love this scene. The balance and choice of colors came out just right and one can almost feel the texture of that sand and the sun’s warmth. No painting ever comes out like the scene in your head. Some work. Some are so-so and others need to be set aside and studied until the artist comes up with a plan to finish it. this one does not need any fiddling or additions.
