Dye on Silk
For many years I painted with watercolors on a variety of supports (papers) according to my goal for the art image. One day I came across a show of paintings using dye on silk and just had to try that technique. My watercolor skills transferred well and yet this medium has it’s own difficulties and learning curves. I joined a silk group and my work was alongside theirs in each annual show. this piece was for a show entitled West Coast Symphony.
